I can not sign into xbox.com with my account anymore.

For anyone that has the same issue... I fixed it by updating the xbox app on the computer I was trying to sign in on. This is a strange dependency because i wasnt using the app but the website instead, but whatever.

This is indeed a pretty strange issue. It is always recommended to keep all apps up to date, but there should be no dependency of the app to log in on the website.

Restarting the computer can also be useful in this kind of situation.

I was able to message, and when I signed in to the xbox.com website, it didn't my let me message anymore.

I can definitely help you, . You can request a refund by signing in to https://xbox.com/refunds, you need to make sure that you're signed in using the account where the subscription is active.

My subscription is not active anymore because I canceled it a while ago and I can't find anything on https://xbox.com/refunds

You would have to sign into the account that purchased it and do a license transfer.

If you can't access that account anymore, you would have to purchase it again on a different account.
