I can not restore Xbox One to factory settings.

Hello xbox’s gurus

When I turn on my Xbox One (Gears of War Edition), it doesn’t displays nothing ant the screen goes black.

After 15 minutes, it displays the number error among other options to try to recover.





I enter to try delete all content.

When I select “Delete All” option, the screen frozen and Xbox One emits the shutdown sound.

Do you think I can recover the Xbox One from a USB?

My son's XBox one controller buttons are not working in their correct function- he says they are opposite and some don't work at all. I am not familiar with, nor do I play, so I am pretty useless. He says that both controllers are functioning like this.

If you launch the Xbox Accessories app on the console there will be an option in the app to restore defaults on the controller this may be what you are looking for.

If not yet attempted, it would be best to try the Offline System Update.

This can be done by following this I need help with system updates on my Xbox One article.

Be sure to select I need to update my console offline.

This kind of issues is best handled by Xbox technicians, if it's possible for you to send your Xbox for repair I suggest you do.
