I can not redeem a prepaid code Gears of War 3, it just give me an error message, can anyone help me we that??

Received Codes from Xbox Live for Gears of War 1, 2, 3, & Judgement, some don't work

Received a message from Xbox Live shortly after I redeemed Gears 4 UE with codes for BC versions of Gears 1-3 & Gears Judgement, the codes for Gears 2 & Judgement redeemed normally but the others give me an error when I try to redeem them.

Any chance I can get new codes for them?

I bought Gears of war 4 and it included redeem code for Gears of war judge and gears of war 3. I can redeem the judge version but not Gear of war 3.

I got error message as below

the error message on my xbox one is "unknown internal error" it ask me to change my language region setting to install the game.

ok do you live in Japan or china or any non xbox live region ? If so that would be why

Your account region mjst reflect your actual region for gears 1 and 3

If you live in an xbox live region but using UK or the us as your region and you don't actually live there including us foreign bases you must use your actual region

To change this you must go to my account and change my region on this website (not the locale)

This can only be done every 3months and previously region locked content doesn't transfer over please read the warnings . carefully) for the best exp with xbox live your account region must match your actual region

After this is done your console locale must be changed to match

 

Not the locale of your console all steps must be donedone you must use the region migration tool not the locale on the lower left hand corner that has nothing to do with your region of your accoumt

And what is your physical region

Us foreign bases only count as the host country so if you are Afghanistan it's not a xbox live supported country for example

If you are in Japan you are out of luck until you move back to the states due to the ban on the gamesgames

You cannot change to any random locale it must be your actual region and yes gears 2 and judgement ain't region lockrd but 1 and 3 is due to the bans on the games

Yes that's correct.becauae gears of.war 2 doesn't have an Ban in certain countries

Your acco@t region must reflect your actual region

You must use th tool if you want to use gears 3

 

what is your actual region if it's not uk

Saying you are in uk without being in uk won't work

And yes gears 2 will work regardless of where you are because other then Germany it's not a controlled game

 

FFo the best exp with xbox live your account region must reflect your actual region

And its not something you can just change on the fly

There is a 3month waiting period between changes hence why you ar whether off using your actual region

As most promotional.games require it
