    Subscriptions have to be paid for with credit/debit, or Paypal on an account. Until the past due balance is paid, no codes can be redeemed.

    No,you can't.

    You would need a xbox live subscription card for 1,3 or 12 months or you can pay by credit/debit card or paypal.

    Currency cards can't be used to pay for a xbox live gold subscription.
