I cant play multiplayer on Battlefield 3

I can not access my code for online pass which means i cant play online. Every time i click multiplayer to access the code a pop up says: Your gamer profile does not have the correct permissions to access Xbox live functionally. Do i need Xbox live gold
for multiplayer or is there something else i can do. Please help!

Are you trying to play multiplayer online, or just play single player online?

If you are trying to play multiplayer, the reason you are running into this error is because you do not have an Xbox Live Gold membership.

Let us know and we can go from there.

Sorry to hear it. If you have a red bar that means that a lot of people have chosen to Avoid you online. You will only be able to play games with others with the same rating.

One way I've heard of getting back into the green is to have friends invite you into their games. If you play well and people upvote you the bar will go back to green eventually.

We need to have an Xbox Live Gold subscription. If what you have is the Xbox Game Pass for Console, it is a library of games that you can play but will not give you access to online multiplayer.

Also, it should show Xbox Live Gold subscription as well because that's just what we need to play online.

You have to subscribe to Xbox Live Gold to be able to play online multiplayer games with your Microsoft Account. Once you do, you can play games online where ever you sign
in on an Xbox One Console.

account that doesn't have an Xbox Live Gold subscription can still play online if another

account that does have Xbox Live Gold is sharing it through the home console feature. Your friend will need to get Xbox Live Gold in order to play with you. We hope this information helps
