I can not install the XBox App

That is a Microsoft Store error. First off I'd try the Store troubleshooter to see if that can find an issue (Windows settings, update & security, troubelshoot, additional troubleshooter, Windows store apps)

If that doesn't work, open up a command prompt (Windows Home icon, start typing "command prompt" click "run as administartor" on what shows up, should open up a new window) and type

sfc/ scannow

It needs a 16GB USB drive. DO not use the Windows reset function from within Windows as that doesn't always solve issues. Once installed, run Windows updates till there are none, then update your graphics drivers from the manufacturer of your GPU....at that point (before installing anything else) try installing the app. If it works, then there was something corrupted on your system..if not, then it suggests the issue is not your end

Please follow the below steps to troubleshoot the MS store, Please try these options one by one and check after each option.

1. Open MS Store > Click on your profile picture on the top right and sign out. Then sign in again.

2. Run Windows App Troubleshooter:
Windows Key+X > Click Settings > Click Update & Security> Click Troubleshoot > Scroll down to the bottom > Click Windows Store Apps > Click Run the Troubleshooter

3. Reset Windows Store through Command Prompt
Type cmd in the Windows Search box > Right-click on Command Prompt > Run As Administrator > Type WSreset.exe and click Enter > Reboot your computer.

I believe the Microsoft Store will be good after performing the above troubleshooting steps.

no, as the folders are hidden and encrypted, it looks like they may do soon as when the odd game starts they say choose play with mods but then you are limited to private online play as anticheat is then disabled but they have not stated anything else yet.

now slightly different on steam as all the xbox games available have accessible folders.

Clear your Microsoft Store cache and try to update the game through the store or download the Xbox app through the store.

To clear the cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the black screen to close and open the store automatically.
