I can not install minecraft even after i have redeemed it

We understand your concern as you are unable to install Minecraft on your PC. In order to get clarity and to assist you, accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

1. What is the version of Windows and Build installed? (Type winver in Windows search/Run command)
   
2. What is the version of Minecraft you are installing? (Java/Windows 10/11)
   
3. Did you have recent update of your system and device?
   

If you are installing Minecraft Windows 10 version, then we would suggest you perform these steps and after every step check if you are able to install Minecraft.



Step 1: Reset the Windows Store Cache

Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.



Note: A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.



Step 2: Run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter

Select the Start button, and then select Settings>Update & Security > Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.



Step 3: Reset Microsoft Store

Refer the steps in this article: Reset Microsoft Store via Settings.



Step 4: New user account

If the issue persists, then we would suggest you to create a new administrator user account and check, refer this article to create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10.

i am not able to redeem my free minecraft bedrock edition. when i click install it asks me on which drive to install i keep it as default. after less than a 1 sec it shows me a play icon that is inaccessible

Like after i redeem the giftcard do i enter the minecraft?

And will it be unlocked so i can play java edition?

Yes I bought minecraft bedrock for windows 10 version, and I can't redeem the same game directly from the original minecraft site, they ask me to buy the game again. I can only get it through the microsoft store, but there I'm having problems installing.

I have completed the tasks but still unable to download Minecraft Launcher, however I am able to install minecraft installer after pressing the link but not minecraft launcher.
