I can not get a new version of minecraft

I have a CD with the game Minecraft xbox one edition. I've been waiting for a year now when I get a new version of minecraft. I played it for more than 5 hours. What should I do?????

I do not have a digital version. Only drive.

Old minecraft expansions not loading

i can’t get my old expansions in the new version of minecraft pls help! Note: i did get the old deluxe version of minecraft

DLC not transfered over from old to new Minecraft Xbox successfully

I have a problem with the DLC transfering between the Minecraft: Xbox One Edition and Minecraft (new). As Mojang said your DLC from the Old Minecraft should transfer over to the new Minecraft. That worked for all my DLC but the DLC that was included in the
Minecraft: Xbox One Favarites Edition (That’s the Version I own). It just didn’t transfered over to the new Minecraft.

Information (if needed to help me:

Console: Xbox One S

Old Mineraft: Digital Version of the Minecraft: Xbox One Favorites Edition

New Minecraft: Digital Version of the Game Minecraft (I was not in the Beta)

If you played the 5 hours before January 31, 2018, the upgrade should show as ready to install in your Games and Apps. Otherwise, you would need to purchase the upgrade from the Xbox store.

Can you try purchasing it on xbox.com?

The Xbox One version doesn't seem to be available through Xbox.com. I don't get a result for it searching either "Minecraft" or "Minecraft: Xbox One Edition". I only get results for the new poorly ported Minecraft.

Are they trying to replace the Xbox One version? This is ridiculous.

Not from the 360 version. If you had the version of the game called Minecraft "Xbox One Edition" then you could have upgraded to the new Windows 10 version (that also replaced the old console version on Xbox) that was simply titled Minecraft/Minecraft Bedrock
edition. They ran a promotion to get that free from the Xbox One edition a few years ago and I believe they are supposed to be running that one again soon when the new Nether update releases on Java and W10. The stipulation is you can only get the W10 version
for your Xbox and not for your PC or the Java Edition should they run that promo again.

Also, as a side note, legacy versions of the game stopped receiving updates after the Aquatic update some time ago back in early-mid 2018. There were multiple tweets and news articles about it from Mojang/Minecraft themselves when they made that decision.
So ultimately its up to the consumer to upgrade from a legacy version and not expect a free handout.

Yes, I did get that. But you need to buy the switch version. You can not get the Swutch's Minecraft for free by having the iPhone version
