i can not enter my card xbox live gold

You are able to purchase Xbox Live Gold through several options

- You can purchase a subscription directly through your xbox with a credit card

- You can purchase pre-paid cards that come with codes you can enter through the Xbox guide menu.

To enter a code from a pre-paid card, press the Guide button on your controller, go left to Games and Apps, and scroll down and select Redeem Code, you can then enter your code and you should be golden!

We're sorry, but there is no way to obtain Free Xbox Live Gold, a purchase is required.

My another question is that, How to recognize the xbox live silver card and xbox live gold cards? Is the silver card still available.

Can i use xbox gift card to buy a gold membership?

You entered a card for membership and you don't have Xbox live Gold yet? It should be instantaneous.

I am experiencing the same Issue. Xbox live support is of little help and have not been able to resolve this issue. I entered my debit card for the free month trial and it shows my debit card on file yet I dont have access to xbox live gold even though my
account says so

You don't enter the code in the game itself, you enter the code on Xbox live. The same area that you would enter the codes to redeem microsoft points or gold membership cards.
