I can not connect to xbox live.

what issue you are having as you can. Be sure to check out our "Start Here!" sticky (forums.xbox.com/.../155724.aspx), which asks for some information
about your network and status info codes you can get from your console. When you create your new post, be sure to include that information, as again, it really helps us better understand what you are using to connect with, and what your console can tell us

I have had the same issue (getting disconnected) since I started using XBOX Live. I am hardwired, I have had my ISP provider out to verify signal. Most of the time it works fine, but Thursday night I was disconnected from xbox live while playing the horde.
Once I am disconnected I can't log back in no matter what I do. My internet works fine I just cant connect to XBOX Live! I have read that this is a Microsoft issue. Is this true? This is a paid service. It should work correclty, or at least let customers know
that this is a problem that is being addressed.

Do you have the old Xbox (white) or the new Xbox (black)?

Have you attempted to restart your networking system (router, modem, etc)?

When I do this it does not give me one of the 3 that are listed. The error message that I get is "LIVE connection error". It does not match any of the errors I see listed.
