I can not buy ANYTHING with my redeemed pre paid code.

Hello, I want to buy a game off of the XBL Store that's only only on the XBL Store but I can't because it keeps asking me for billing information that I don't want to give. Is this a glitch? I have the money to buy the game in my account from the pre-paid
code, but it won't let me purchase the game I want without forcing me to add billing information. Please help.

You can add Microsoft Points pre-paid codes by using the Xbox 360 console or by using Xbox.com.

Xbox 360 console

To enter a pre-paid Microsoft Points code by using the Xbox 360 Guide main menu, follow these steps:
Press the Xbox 360 Guide button, and then go to the Marketplace area.
Select Redeem Code.
Enter the 25-character pre-paid code.
To enter a Microsoft Points code by using the Add Points Wizard, follow these steps:
To access the Add Points Wizard, press the X button while you view any content description screen within the Game Marketplace or Video Marketplace areas or while you view the Memberships section in the Account Management area.
Select Redeem Prepaid Card.
Enter the 25-character pre-paid code.

Visit Sign In (Sign In) or follow these steps:
From Xbox.com, use your Windows Live ID to sign in to your Xbox LIVE account.
Select My Account from the My Xbox drop-down menu.
Click Redeem Code to enter the pre-paid code and add Microsoft Points to your account.

Can't Purchase Anything: Error 8012271F

I need help trying to buy anything on the marketplace. I just recently redeemed a pre-paid $25.00 card and I can't buy anything. When I try I keep get the status code: 8012271F. I have tried everything. I clear my system cache, my marketplace cache, and
edited my billing contact information, and managed my payment options. Can somebody please help me out, I would appreciate the help. Thanks!

Billing info could mean your physical location info. Head over to commerce.microsoft.com to make sure that all your info there is correct and up to date before making the purchase.

If the purchase does require a credit card or paypal added then that would be because you do not have enough money currently in your account to cover the full cost plus taxes.
