    Yes. They will lose Gold status and privileges and become an Xbox LIVE Free member.

    Alright, first off, are you trying to play online? If so, I notice you do not have a Xbox Live Gold membership. To play online, you must be a Gold member. Here is how to become an
    Xbox Live Gold member.

    Microsoft Commerce     account, try running your account through the
    migration tool     and try again.

    Let us know if it works or not. I can not become XBox Live Gold Member :)

    As a result of the Diamond service Gold members will become what is now known as Silver members but with a gold gamercard.
