    Hi, I have a problem I can not add a friend to friends on xbox 360, he has xbox one but as other people add it normally add and are on the list of recent added friends, so please reply as soon as possible, ps: I did not block me

    Can not add to friends

    I tried to add one user to my friends, but when I tried to do this, the window "Security settings do not allow you to use this function.". Then I tried to change the privacy settings - did not help

    0 friends and can not add friends

    Had error 80048821 when signing in so removed profile (just profile), then cleared cache and downloaded profile. Error is gone and can sign into profile but now it shows 0 friends and it says it can not process teh command when I try to add friends. if I
    try form xbox.com/live then it gives an "uh oh" error page.

    For a friend to be a friend on Xbox 360, your friend has to friend you back.

    If only you are the person befriending him, you become a "follower". Only if your friend adds you to their friend list on the Xbox One as well, you become friends.

    Just to add, on the Xbox 360 there is also a friends list limit of 100. Once that is reached you don't see new requests on the account either.

    I can´t add friends

    You can have up to 100 friends at a time. Check your current friend limit or your friend could be at their max. Try to initiate a chat with friend and ask if they are at max limit of 100 friends.
