If you had a previous account linking and it doesnt say "EA play with game pass" under settings-> my account -> my membership in EA Desktop app then I suggest

- Clicking Manage from the settings in EA Desktop app to go to the EA customer portal website and under Connections disconnect the xbox account

- Then log out of EA Desktop and exit both apps

- Then install a EA game from xbox app

It will log you into EA Desktop and link accounts giving "EA play with game pass" membership and start downloading from EA Desktop app

Note it says you can only ever link one xbox account to your EA account

I originally got it through the EA Access on Xbox which has been renamed EA Play. My Xbox account is linked to my EA account on the EA app just fine. I believe I have it regardless of Xbox Game Pass since I do not have Game Pass. My problem is that on the Xbox console I can download the EA play apps but on the same account on the Xbox PC app I cannot download EA Play apps. I have been trying to get Star Wars Battlefront II which can be found on the Xbox App, which then tells me I have to have EA Play to download, which as previously explained I pay a subscription for and am able to use on my Xbox console. I am just confused as to why my EA Play works on the console but not the PC through the Xbox App on the same account.

Yes, Game Pass can be gameshared (EA Access works as well). Assuming this Game Pass subscription is active on your account, you will need to make your Xbox console the “Home” Xbox in order to share it with other accounts that log on to your console too.

so in short as long as your son redeemed a online pass code on your console all profiles will have access to ea online pass

so you can create another account for him or yourself and use the mutliplayer as long as you are gold

you can however purchase a family plan

EA use their own servers to do matchmaking therefore they can set the terms of service for their service

if their game is rated M then only 18+ can play that game on their servers
