    I can no longer sign into my Minecraft account with my school email


    Recently, I've been having a lot of issues signing into my Microsoft account because it uses my college school email. Some things work, like this website, but I must choose specifically that it is a school account. However, I can no longer sign into Minecraft. It doesn't ask me the type of account it is when I try to sign in, so when I try to enter my password associated with that email, it keeps telling me it's wrong, even though it's not.

    I bought Minecraft a long time ago, so I don't want to start new. I also have Minecraft Dungeons and Dungeons & Dragons DLC which I really don't want to lose by creating a new account. Is there anyway for me to retrieve this account? I've even tried signing into the Microsoft store with my school account, but I can't. I did manage to link my school account to my PC in the settings, but that didn't help anything. I really hope I haven't lost anything.

    Hi Jhon, thank you for your help. I have tried those methods before but those do not relate to the issue I'm having. The hacker transferred the Minecraft account's email (my email) to his own email as he can sign in to my account with his email currently. I do not have access any longer as he modified the password and email.

    How do i unlink a ps4 account from my Minecraft account?

    Hey there! So I was hopeful that this would solve my problem but unfortunately it did not. I tried to unlink like it said in the form that you COPIED AND PASTED, but to no luck. If someone can reply with how to unlink a ps account, i didnt recently link

    Hey Courtney, thanks for helping but I have an additional question.

    I've linked my account to my own email and I'm able to log in with my own account now. But when I sign in, it gives me the welcome back tab, my school email is shown under my username despite logging in using my own email. Is my school email still linked or is it nothing to worry about since it's the original email I used.

    I have to buy minecraft java edition again after playing on a migrated account for months.

    So... for whatever reason I tried my old Mojang account email when signing into Microsoft today and it worked. Specifically it worked after I signed in with my Microsoft email, then selecting "switch accounts", then entering the old Mojang email. Even though previously doing so gave me an error message that the account had been migrated. I'm not certain what difference there is between yesterday and today, but I guess I technically no longer have an issue. However I can now no longer access the main Minecraft site as it tells me my access is denied. Oh well. I guess I don't need to send out a ticket anymore anyway.
