I can no longer play videos from my computer to my xbox

Up until this most recent update, I was using an application/service on my laptop, knows as kooraroo, as a DLNA Push server. I could watch videos on my laptop via the xbox on the large tv. This has recently quit working, with the most recent system update/update
to Xbox Video application. Now all I get is "Connecting" on the xbox and the media never plays. This is unacceptable for a Media device!!

how do i connect my xbox 360 to my windows 10 computer

need to connect my xbox 360 to my new windows 10 computer but can figure out how to get them to communicate so I can play my music and videos from my computer to my console. Was so much easier to do with my Vista computer!!!

I have an xbox on wifi, I have a windows 7 PC on wifi. 720p video no longer streams (avi files). SD files do stream (.mp4 and avi) - but the loading times are longer than I'm used to. This all started happening after the late november update to the xbox
dashboard. I have friends who also have this issue. Does anyone else know of this issue, or better yet a solution.

there is various ways to push media to the X1 however I can not find away to pull items into the X1. The only time I need to push items to it is from my portable devices and the play to option is pretty cool. Yes though, the 360 does both very well and
its a frustration

 

Also, double check you are using the same network. My router offers 4 different networks and it gets confusing.

 

I watch lots of media from my PC to my XBOX. This was working fine with Kooraroo Media Server until the most recent system update. Fix this MS or I will see if there isn't some legal breach of contract going on.

 

Some media center ... when this simple DLNA task won't work, you fail as a media center, this is standard fare for anything calling itself a media center.
