i can hear people in parties but they cant hear me

Discus and support i can hear people in parties but they cant hear me in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; It says that my head set is plugged In and I can hear my game and other people in my party through it.     i can hear people in parties but they cant hear me


    It says that my head set is plugged In and I can hear my game and other people in my party through it. However the people in my parties can not hear me and it says that I'm no talking when I am. I have tried different accounts, mics, and controllers. I also
    have tried plugging my controller in directly to the xbox and that doesn't work either. I have tried everything I can. if you have any help, information, or a fix please message me on xbox thank you

    Cant hear friends in parties but they hear me

    Im trying to talk to my friends in a party on my xbox one but the problem that i keep having here is that they all can hear me. Except when they talk i don't hear them in my headset.

    Ive tried numerous times with resetting my xbox and checking my NAT type but nothing is working for me.

    My NAT type seems to be open so i shouldn't be having problems but i don't know why this isn't working

    Headset not working, i can hear people, but they cant hear me.

    I'm having very similar problems with my xbox. I have a big ben headset. Whenever I speak with friends lately we always have problems with my friends not being able to hear me. I can hear everyone else perfectly fine though. Anyone got tips other than unplugging
    the xbox?

    Xbox One Chat Headset Troubleshooting Sometimes it can help with the issue. Which headset are you using with the console as well?

    Most likely your mic has a broken connection.

    Even in the more expensive headsets they use tin solder and brittle wiring which can break with normal use. Best I've found is a set of JVC earbuds called Gumy, and they cost less than 15 bucks. They've outlasted 3 sets of turtlebeaches and with every turtle
    beach that failed, it was the mic that failed and always where the inadequate length of stiff brittle wiring was soldered to the pcb board. Which means that every time you adjest your mic, you're weakening and eventually breaking either the wires or solder
    points to the mic itself.

    Easy way to test is, while in chat etc, is to push and hold the mic's flex shaft towards the ear pad while talking. Which will often cause a reconnection good enough to show up as working.. Till you let go of the shaft.

    Earbuds with an inline mic is the way to go.
    I thought it may be the mic as well, but after trying other headphones and earbuds too, it still didn’t work. Also I’m my controller settings my mic showed up as Connected.

    Mic will often show as connected even when its not working on the X1.

    That being said, i'm out of ideas.
