    I can hear others but they can’t hear me on Xbox


    Really odd scenario here.

    I can hear others just fine in an Xbox party but they cannot hear me. When I look at the mic icon in the party it shows I have a headset connected but never displays the indicator like I’m speaking.

    When I use the Xbox app on my phone with the same profile, it works fine.

    When other Xbox accounts use the same headset, they can communicate via parties just fine (proving it’s not a headset issue).

    I’m playing on a Series X

    My NAT is Open

    My Xbox Privacy is set to “Adult defaults”

    Clean your console's MAC, restart your internet device for a few minutes, and try again.

    To clean the MAC follow this path

    Settings>general>network settings>advanced settings>alternative MAC address and click clear and restart the console when prompted.

    If the problem persists reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

    Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.

    In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

    To reset the console>

    Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

    ***Do not reset your console without having your account email and password.***

    page for any updates regarding this.

    Hey there PanthersFanDay1!

    I am truly sorry to hear about the Party Chat issues and I can definitely understand how frustrating that could be. Are you able to hear sound in other apps? If you haven't already, I recommend trying to see if you can hear sound in an app like Skype.
