I can hear only the party chat.

Hi, its been a few days that i can't hear anything else then the party chat. This is really irritating because if i don't hear the game chat its impossible to play games like Rainbow 6 siege. Anyone know's how to fix this problem??

My headset only works in party chat. When I'm playing other games I can see that people are talking but I can't hear them and they can't hear me. It only works in party chat.

Basically what other people said:

Party chat - anyone that's in your party can only hear this

In-game chat: Anyone in the vicinity or the entire server (Depending on the game) can hear

I was turning on my console and realized within a few seconds I can't hear any other audio other than party chat. Is this some sort of controller issue? I have had this issue a few times, and I simply unplugged my headset and plugged it back in and it worked,
but now no matter what I do, it won't work. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Hey all, I fixed my controller, turns out you can't have your headset party chat mixer too high, otherwise you can't hear anything. Hopefully, this is helpful for anyone who has the same problem.
