To answer your question, you may contact live support about your request to have your controller serviced and to get the same controller back to you. Make sure that the controller is register to your Microsoft account and follow the steps to contact support.

2. Scroll down and look at the lower left side if you can see the page matches the country/region you are currently located.
   
   
   
   
   
3. If not, please select the country/region it is showing and select the correct one among the list.
   
4. Make sure to use to check the available contact times of the support.
   
5. Select the "Contact Us" button
   
6. Select the drop-down menu options that will match your concern.
   
7. The next window will provide you with support articles based on your request and we recommend reviewing the relevant articles before selecting the "See contact options" button.
   
8. On the final window, you will be presented with multiple options. We suggest selecting either the "Chat online" or the "Request a call" options to speak with someone. Be sure to provide as much detail as possible.
   
9. If you cannot get connected to the support, please use the Virtual Agent and enter this exact phrase, "Talk to an agent".

If it's still under warranty then I belive you can. Accessories have a 90 day warranty.

If you are out of the warranty time can´t be sended to repair, you can find most of the tools and parts to fix the controller online in a very good price.

Ok. If I start a repair order of my console, with an accessory trouble, do I need to send my whole console or can I send only my controller?

Since it's out of warranty, I reccomend you do some research and see if you can find anywhere that will fix it for you, and how much it's going to cost, then once you know the cost of the repair, you can decide if you should get it repaired, or simply
buy a new one, or get yourself an Xbox One Elite Series 2 controller, but it will probably be cheaper to get it repaired.
