I bought Xbox Live Gold from the website and it won't work on my Xbox 360...

So, I bought one month of gold today, but when I go to my xbox to play, it says I'm not a gold account member and that I don't have online play permissions. I have an online bill emailed to me, I also have a purchase history on my Microsoft account and when
I got to My Account Dashboard on this website, it says I do one month of gold. Does anyone have a resolution to this, or is anyone else having this problem?

I bought Xbox Live from Xbox.com and I got ripped off, i dont have xbox live on my xbox 360

I bought Xbox Live Gold from the Xbox.com Website and it says im a Gold member on there, but on My Xbox 360, it says that Im Still an Xbox LIVE Free

Please Help me

yea it shall work cause i just got my XBOX 360 and i got MW3 with it but i had xbox live gold but next day i bought a new xbox live gold membership from website... still did'nt work so i just tried like 100 stuff and this was the last one and it worked but

Okay, I tried the "delete your account and re-download it" trick and it worked, but there's still a few games I can't really go online with, but I think that is because that's how the game is designed.

Glad to hear it worked for you. For future reference, when you purchase a membership on the website it can take some time to populate your account. To speed the process up it would be easier to simply run a connection test from the Network Settings (Settings>System>Network)
than to delete and then redownload the tag.

Yes, my gift card I bought is from my same country and region that I live in. The only problem is that when I redeemed it to my Microsoft account, it shows up on there. But it won't show up on my Xbox 360 console dashboard and I can only purchase my game add-on from the console (it somehow won't work on the online Xbox store website). So yeah, I need it to sync to my Xbox.

Hey! I just bought xbox live gold too... and its not working, and i have also tried testing my xbox live connection.. but nothing is happening, I dont know how to tell if i am gold on the website but i have bought it. Any other suggestions? Sorry

Cloud storage won't work with a 2 day gold trial. Requires at least a full month of Xbox Live Gold.

If you have Gold on the One you also have Gold on the 360 if you log into the console with the account that has Gold. Buy a month of Gold on the One and use that to load save games into the cloud and access them from the Xbox One. Backward compatible games
won't transfer, they need to be downloaded to Xbox One from within My Games and Apps.
