I bought xbox live gold for 3 months and when i try to join a party or play a game it doesn't ...

same problem here, xbox live expired, i exteneded for 3 months, accounts says on xbox live that gold ist active but cant play online or join party! it happened today

What happens when you try and start a party, join a party, or join a multiplayer game?

Does it say you need to purchase the gold subscription?

Give you any sort of error message?

I started a party and invited my dad, it worked. I could play Online Adventure in Forza Horizon 4, but when I go to the Xbox Live Gold buy page it says to buy it, but on the family account on this xbox it says it is bought (My dad bought it in his account,
not the family account)

i think the first original xbox game i played was that 3d gauntlet game, pretty sure the first 360 game i played was halo 3...first xbox brand game i bought was gears of war. i first joined live because a friend wanted to play halo 3 with me and another
friend so he bought us both a month of live, then i couldn't figure out how to renew that account to gold when i bought my own 360, so i made this account.

similar thing happened to me. When I try to access a game or start a party it just brings up the "join Xbox live gold" screen. I added the membership on in December and it needed in April it was 12 Month

bought 12 month xbox live gold but my xbox doesn't show and only has join xbox live option
