I bought Xbox Live Gold, but it says I have Xbox Live Silver!

Recently I was trying to play games online on my Xbox 360, but it said that my account was unable to play them online. I checked my profile, and sure enough, it said I had Xbox Live Silver. I checked through my credit card history, and it said that I bought
1 year of Xbox Live Gold on 5/10/14, so it shouldn't be expired yet. How can I get my Xbox Live Gold back?

Bought Xbox Live Gold But It Still Says I Have Silver

Hey there Spaceodyssey666!

If you bought your membership online, then there is a slight delay between the purchase and your console. It may take a few hours to update, however, if it has not yet updated your membership to gold then by testing your Xbox LIVE connection it is like a
page refresh for your console. By doing the process of testing your Xbox LIVE connection, it will update your console and you should have your Gold membership!

Here is how to test your connection on your console, if you are unaware on how to do so:

Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings and then select
System Settings.

Select Network Settings.

Select Wired Connection (if you’re prompted to do so).

Select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

I did check and i still dont have gold, and that says that i havnt bought anything. I still got two receipts through my email and one where it sais that my xbox live is silver again. I cant call support since they arnt open. THey are wasting my weekend -.-
I even bought the live through the xbox
