I bought Xbox Live but it still says that I have Free.

I bought Xbox Live Gold for one month on 9/27/14. It is now 10/1/14 and it still says Free and not Gold. In the dashboard it says Go Gold and get Gold for free games. But I already purchased it 4 days ago. I did buy it online so I understand that it
would take some time to transfer to the console. But I didn't think it would take this long. My account online says I have Xbox Live Gold and it shows me that I did indeed purchase it for $9.99. I've done the network tests a bunch of times to speed things
up. But every time I do it, nothing changes. I signed in and out. Nothing. I unplugged the Xbox for 30 seconds, nothing. I don't know what else to do. Please help?

I am assuming the 14 days of gold is a free trial as microsoft do not sell 14 day gold memberships.. Free trials do not give you access to all the gold features. This is meant to be used to test the xbox live features. If you want access to gold exclusive
demos and access apps that require gold membership you will need to purchase a proper gold membership.

Normally it could take an hour or more for the servers to confirm your membership. You could try speed up this process by download your Xbox profile as follows:

Press X to sign out of your profile.

• Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller).
  
• Select Download Profile.
• Enter the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
• Enter your Microsoft account password.

on the boards your account is shown as silver, so going to contact Support would be your best Option.
