Remove all profiles from console

Clear cache

Power cycle (turning off console for 5min)

Power on console again

Enter with your console

Try again

If bought then download via your ready to install

You only get that msg when you only download via gamepass

Are you downloading it with the Gamer Tag that originally bought it? Are you downloading it via your Download History?

when games are bought via the game marketplace they run directly from the hard drive, and no dvd (disk) is needed to play the game.

The game bought via the marketplace is a download and when the file is downloaded from the marketplace it resides on the hard drive and that is all you need to be able to play the game

So in short: You should be able to play a game that is bought via the xbox live games section of the console
