I bought the wrong item because it was unexpectedly a Windows 10 version. Now what?

So during midnight, I decided to buy the Final Fantasy XV Episode Ardyn DLC for that game and I thought it did not download and I play the Xbox One version. Then I later learned it was the Windows 10 version I bought by accident. Now I can never undo this.
I don't know what to do anymore. I submitted a refund request, but it will never be refunded. I needed the refund for the Xbox One version. Seems like I have wasted my money.

All you can do is submit the refund request. If it is denied you can reply to the email you receive to get in touch with the refund specialists.

If you've had multiple refunds within the year, that may explain why they turned down the possible refund. Your best bet is to reply to the email received in response to your refund request. Hopefully, you'll be able to get the refund specialist to reconsider
the decision.

If you submitted a refund request and indicated that you made a mistake in the purchase version, the Xbox team will investigate and issue a refund if they believe you meet the requirements.
