    I bought the game disk for call of duty Cold War, but you’re still asking me to purchase the game once it was downloaded. This isn’t right at all I paid your hostage money, please just let me play my game

    Or do you mean running a game without the disc and digital license previously purchased?

    Hello,

    Thank you for the quick response. This was a game disk I purchased new from Walmart then put into a newly purchased Xbox. It said that it was downloading the content, and when I checked a few hours later it said ready to play. Once I started the game it took me to a purchase screen while the disk was inside. I seen YouTube videos that I guess this is a glitch with this game but I could not figure out from the videos how to fix it.

    Hi Danny, I appreciate it if you can share a picture of the screen you’re getting.

    Meanwhile, I can suggest you try to perform a physical power cycle by disconnecting the power cable:

    "Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
    Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

    Important: Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    Plug the console power cable back in.
    Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on."

    Please eject the disc before trying this procedure.

    well that's stupid. Why cant Microsoft let me download the xbox one version for free because I've already bought and played for the game on my account why would they make you buy it again really unhappy with this. But thankyou now I know why

    But when I bought it on PC it had absolutely nothing to do with my xbox account. Why are you suddenly allowed to make me buy it again?
