I bought my Xbox One in China

I need to know if there is a way to change the language to English. Some body that can tell me if this is possible

Question about Region Locked Console.

My cousin is visiting from China with a Xbox One China. I understand that it is region locked meaning it can't play any games bought in America. But can she play the xbox one games she got from china in america? (The console won't turn on.) --> Is this because
it is region locked?

Yes you should be able to change it to whatever language you want if it's supported in your area, which it should be.

 

but the console only have one option for language and it is Chinese, is there a way to do it the hard way, maybe download a update or something.

 

Is there an update available for your console? You can check by going into settings, system, then scrolling down to update. If it's not gray'ed out then you have an update but if it is then your console is running the latest software. I'm also thinking that
maybe English is not supported in your region yet so the only thing you can choose is China and have the language as Chinese.

 

you think if i take this console to my Country ( Costa Rica ) the option of using other language will come up?

 

and it should because it's not region locked anymore
