I have tried to reinstall launcher, sign in and out of the account, nothing works. Please help me!!!

Same thing happened to me today! I have also owned minecraft for like 5 years, but suddenly today I got a message from the launcher saying "Do you own this game or app". I really do not want to use money on buying something I already own.

Based on your description, the error suggests that the system can't find the Minecraft game license on your Microsoft account.

Your Minecraft account must have migrated to the original email address where it was first created.

In order to fix this, you will need to find the Microsoft account where your Minecraft was migrated and where your Minecraft game license was purchased.

Note: After the migration, the Minecraft transaction should appear under the Microsoft account's order history regardless if the game was purchased on the Mojang website before.

Kindly sign in to all of your email accounts on account.microsoft.com > order history > select the date of range when you purchased your Minecraft game 3 - 4 years ago.

From there, check if you have the Minecraft transactions. If you have found the transactions, use the same Microsoft account to log out and re-login to the Microsoft Store and Minecraft Launcher.

If you're unable to find the Minecraft game transaction, this can only mean that the game was purchased on a different email account. Please check your other Microsoft email accounts' order history.

When you are accessing the store, it's not recognizing you own the game.

Are you using a child's account? The "Ask Now" is the permission from the Family Organizer.

Please, reset the store and try installing the game again.

To Reset the Store, Press the Windows Key + R > Type WSReset.exe and press Enter.

Then, on the Microsoft Store, type your game name: "Minecraft".

Load the game page and click on "Install".

Another option is to download the launchers from the Minecraft Website:
