I bought Minecraft and it has disappeared

Hello. I bought Minecraft from a retailer in the UK for my sons birthday. When activating the game I signed into my account (this one). The game is not showing on my account and the key says it has now been activated.

I contacted Minecraft support all they could suggest is check you weren't logged into another account. We dont have another account.

Can you please provide more information about your concern? Are you using a PC or a console? Have you checked your Order History to see if you were able to successfully redeem the game? Please check if the purchase is for a PC or console.

Here are the steps on how to check your order history:

On console

1. To view your purchases, press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Go to Profile & system > Settings > Account > Payment & billing.
3. Select Order history to view your purchases.

On the web

1. Sign in to https://account.microsoft.com.
2. Select Payment & billing > Order history.

You can use the filters to specific billing periods or to review In progress, Returned/Refunded, Digital, or Physical orders that were bought with this Microsoft account.

It is a PC that i am using.

I have checked my order history and it is not showing there.

what do i do next?

If it shows up in your order history you should be able to click on it and it will open a pop-up with the full transaction details and an option box that allows you to "Install to your devices".
