hey i bought a microsoft gift card $15 and i bought xbox live gold with it but when i go to go on the online game it says your account does not have the correct permissions for this action so can someone help me activate it

13 months gold membership only work for a month ?!

I bought a " Xbox Live Gold Membership (13 months ) + corbulo emblem "( The halo 4 ver. ) in a month before and of course i used it.

Therefore , i should have 13months membership and the emblem there, seems it's working isnt it ?

However, when i wanna play my xbox today , it said i AM NOT A GOLD
MEMBER anymore ...... but i still got the corbulo emblem in my download list ...

So where is my membership ? It should be at least 11 months left isnt it ????????

Contact Us | Xbox Support If you did change your region, gold doesn't always change with you depending on where you changed it to.

if your account is controller by a parental account then that parental account likely will have to adjust some settings before you can use the gift card.

The parental account might be able to do this for your account at
http://account.xbox.com/settings

If that isn't possible or not the case, then it might be best to contact Xbox Support, so they can do a more in-depth check into the issue.

We just want to add a bit of clarity. As of last November we have changed the way to get in contact with us, the new and only way is to simply
Request a Callback from one of our Xbox Support
Specialists and we would reach out. Unfortunately as stated before this is a known issue and a Service Alert at the moment so even they wouldn't have a resolution for this. We hope this helps!

Xbox Live Status page and selecting the Notify Me button. Give it a shot and keep an eye on the resolution of this inconvenient issue!

Hello Jirka,

We understand that you just bought Xbox Live, but the console is not allowing you to use it.

We recommend trying a power cycle
of the console.

If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the
console, reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

Try this out first and let us know the results.
