I bought call of duty modern warfare 2 and it is telling me to buy it again

Hey, I was just having the same issue. I tried restarting my Xbox to fix my stream and it just stopped letting me in so I tried restarting my Xbox again and it’s letting me back on now. I hope this works for you if not I’m sorry I can’t help much more. This is of course if you haven’t already fixed the problem.

I bought the hard disk copy the day after it was released. I have played it several times. There was an update today and now it is telling me I need to purchase Modern Warfare 2 to play. What can i do?

Why is this the only reply when IVE found many ppl having the same issue, yet a hard copy. (I E. I bought the disc form of MWII) HAS UNDOUBTEDLY BEEN PURCHASED AND INSTALLED?!
