I bought an expansion for Cities, but it doesn't show up as purchased or appear in the game

I am having the same issue even though everything was bought under the same Xbox Live account. Part of my problem is that the purchase of the Expansion Pack doesn't show up in my purchase history or the purchase history of the other accounts on my Xbox...
even though the console knows I own them and can play them.

No, the OP topic doesn't seem to be fixed, and neither is the side-issue that I think may be related.

The original post was about the purchased games and add-ons not appearing under "My Games" on the store website. That still seems to be an issue.

If you find the title in the list of games for sale, yes it does state you already own it or gives you the option to buy; but that was not the issue being seen.

The only thing that I bought after the noted console update, was the Rise of Iron expansion for Destiny, which does NOT appear in "My Games", yet all other games and add-ons purchased prior to the said console update, do show up there.

Additionally, if I do go to purchase a game title, it prompts me to add a payment option, which I already have on my account. There is both a CC and a MS Account on file with balance. Neither appear when on the store website when trying to purchase.

When I purchase on the console itself, everything is fine.

When I look at my account online at xbox.com, it shows everything is fine and all titles and payment options appear there.

So, in summary, no the issue originally reported is still not working as it should be.

It got fixed.

I had to contact Microsoft again to get a screenshot or something that showed I bought the Expansion Pass so I could pass it on to Bungie. They couldn't provide it even though they show it is registered to my Xbox.

I checked my bank statements and the Microsoft account purchase history they were able to provide me... and I saw no money being deducted for the Expansion Pass. Therefore, it appears when we bought the Expansion Pass, the financial part of the transaction
did not process, but the console thought we bought it.

To fix this, I...

- Uninstalled everything Destiny related.

- Cleared the cache

- Bought the Collector's Edition for $79.99 (or Legendary edition would work, too)

- Re-installed everything digitally. I had Destiny on disc, but I didn't touch that during the re-install. I simply installed the new digital version

Also make sure that you don't purchase the expansions or seasonpass in the store again.

They will show up in the store to be bought (and payed for) again, but because you've bought a bundle you can install them without being charged!
