I bought a second-hand Xbox 360 CD and when I try to open it an error message appears

The majority of xbox 360 games are region locked so it sounds like the disc you bought if from a different region than your console.

It is not an alpha going to do that in the slightest. Different companies pay to have the distribution rights to a piece of intellectual property in a certain region. If you do not protect their sales, they will no longer invest in future movies or games,
and part of the contract that they signed states of those rights must be protected. Whether or not that rights holder chooses to format it in a different video standard, or to lock it down with a region code is entirely up to them. You will absolutely find
pelvis that our region coded. I have a great many from Germany that are distributed by Universal in the United States. All region Blocked. And this is material from the 70s. Why? Because they only Own it in Germany

There are no commercial Blu-ray players that are region free. You’ve purchased a modified deck. It is a violation of the Blu-ray license to produce a region free player, and whatever company does can be heavily fined, and sued. Ask Apex about it

Region locking is not limited to DVD and BD, console games have the same problem.

I consider it unethical to do that. My BD player can fix PAL disks fine and they play fine, it is region free.

i bought batman arkham origins from xbox 360 for xbox one

because it was soon available. it's two cds

the first is the campaign and etc ...

the second cd has the audio package, with it I can play the dubbed game

when I put the first cd and go in the same menu

I click on install audio package and asks me to insert the second cd, only before I even insert the second cd

an error appears

Nothing appears on the screen. When i just bought the console, i installed the backward for 360, and an app to play my cd s. But now it does not play the cds or the 360 games annymore, and it gives no error codes. i did some hard recet ( 10 sec power button
pressed), re installed the apps, but it still dont work
