I bought a Live Gold 3 month code. But the code says it has already redeemed

I bought a 3-month live code from newegg.

When I tried to activate the subscription with the code. the page said the code was redeemed already.

And my Live Gold account was not activated.

The seller Newegg told me to ask Microsoft CS team but I cannot get any help here from MS.

Am I losing my money?

Newegg is responsible. If they refuse to send you another code or refund I would reach out to your credit card company and dispute the charge.

I recommend purchasing from Microsoft in the future.

Honestly I would suggest reaching out to MS Customer Support, they should be able to help you get this taken care of 😀

Dear ainz lee,

This has nothing to with microsoft.

The code was sold by third part reseller.

NewEgg has to take responsibility for redeeming issues.

Send them a picture of message displayed while you try to redeem and ask for a new code.

However it is upto them to grant a new code or refund based on terms and conditions.

Hope you got a clear solution.

There's not really anything Xbox can do about it. You'll have to get back to the retailer, as it was a mistake/error on their part.

Also, make sure you're typing the code correctly! Sometimes that happens too.
