    I purchased a game in August, Pier Solar and the Great Architects. Played for a few hours. Saved. Upon coming back realized my save was GONE.

    I googled the issue, this has existed for THREE years and has not been addressed, yet the game is still in the store being sold. I contacted Microsoft support and requested a refund or credit. Was declined. The person couldn't even understand my problem. That
    is INSANE to me, a MICROSOFT support person not understanding that an RPG style game than cannot be reliably saved is USELESS.

    So then I tried disputing it with my credit card company. Microsoft told them I bought a physical game, never returned it and asked for a refund. So they lied. Again, no refund.

    Can anybody help me figure out how to get my whopping 15 dollars back, or a credit? Just on principle, this is ridiculous. The game is on the store, the problem with saving is known, they'll take your money, but if you want help
    they dismiss you or offer you a free month of XB Gold. All i want is my 15 dollars back, I haven't played the game since the day I bought it. It's completely useless to me.

    Refund possibilities

    Does this include purchases where the game is unplayable? I bought San Andreas On demand but since I lack a Microsoft internal Harddrive I cannot play the game. Can I get a refund on that?

    I have been having this issue for months and have been back and forth with microsoft and xbox live and I'm furious! I'm paying for Live and cannot reliably connect to the damn service! I pay for Netflix that we cannot watch and live that I cannot stay connected
    to games to play! What the hell is going on??

    Update: Ubisoft has informed me that they cannot restore my game save and that I should just start over. However, they have not addressed the game save merge bug that is occurring. I also have asked for a refund and they are refusing.

    alreddy put in- i need a refund. And if you refuse i must insist to speak some who doesnt refuse. This game was a nigtmare to complete and I am 100 percent not doing it over again

    At least you got to play. I bought the game. It downloaded and would NOT even launch past the first loading screen. I re downloaded and same thing again. I requested a refund within a day and microsoft refused after selling me a non working game.
    This is beyond frustrating. HELP!

    May I ask if it was Microsoft balance? Or did you buy a subscription? If you bought a subscription it cannot be refunded. But to get a refund, you must visit the Microsoft account website with your web browser and navigate to Payment & Billing > Order History. Then, select the app or game and select “Request a refund.”
