Discus and support I bought a game and I apparently don't 'own' it. in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I recently purchased Windjammers 2 for about $17 because of the usual Game Pass discounts and an error message appears with it saying "Oops, not sure...     I recently purchased Windjammers 2 for about $17 because of the usual Game Pass discounts and an error message appears with it saying "Oops, not sure what happened there", or among those lines. I reload the Store to attempt to fix the bug and it shows up with the Game Pass stamp. I click on it, and it says "Buy to own" even though I just purchased it from the Store. What the hell? I try uninstalling and reinstalling, and it still shows up with the Game Pass stamp. I look in my order history, and it shows up as "Completed". Store says I have to buy it again. What is going on? This is really annoying and is a serious waste of time.

Unfortunately, we are limited when it comes to viewing a users purchase history on the forums. If you're able, please contact us directly at Xbox Support - Contact Us so we may assist with the purchase.

    As for the error, can you please confirm if you were attempting to make this purchase directly through your Xbox console or through a web browser on PC? Are you able to download the game as a Game Pass subscriber?

    Be guided that this is a public community forum, so we are players like you, we are not employees of Microsoft or Xbox, so we do not have access to any user account or check anything from the forum. All users help each other with common problems.

    Please check your Purchase history by going to your Xbox account's Order History at https://account.microsoft.com>; Order history and see if both games are listed as purchased. If Saints Row 1 is missing, it may not have been processed correctly.

    And then verify the promotion details because a “Buy One Get One Free” deals have specific conditions, like needing to add both games to your cart. Check if the promotion was applied correctly.

    Next is to restart your device and refresh your library. A quick restart can update your game library and make missing purchases appear.

    Then redownload the game. To do this, go to the Microsoft Store or your Xbox game library and check if Saints Row 1 appears. If it does, you should be able to install it again.

    I don't own games I have bought

    This was likely due to a service alert that was up effecting the ability to play downloaded games and apps. You should be able to use them now that the alert has lifted. If you continue to have this problem please post back.

    Sorry to hear that this issue is frustrating you.

    Let's see if we can figure out what's going down.

    Normally, if it's not recognizing certain aspects of your account like license/purchase history, the best course of action is to try and refresh your account on your console. Follow the steps here on

    How to add or remove a Microsoft account on Xbox One
    to remove and then redownload your account from Xbox Live.

    If that doesn't work, and your billing history shows that you did in fact purchase all the necessary content, then I would try what we call a soft reset.

    It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

    Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
    will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

    Also make sure that you select the option denoted reset and keep my games and apps.
