I bought a game and downloaded it, but for some reason the store says it wasn't purchased?

I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:

After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm.

Then, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2 to 3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

If the issue persists, please select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

If the issue persists, please try to check you games in the order games history in this following website : Microsoft account | Home

If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

I already purchased the game and had it downloaded on my pc before, but for some reason, the version i already bought is no longer downloadable. the page for it still says Xbox play anywhere. that's not fair.

Load the game up and go to the in-game store. For me in the in-game store there was the option to purchase premium and under that there was China Rising for free, and under that it gave me the option to purchase it for some reason.

anyway, if you already entered the code the free download will be in the in-game store, not the XBL store.

it's not able to download anymore as of right now, it only gives me the option to "download to my Xbox"

Although you are viewing the store page on your Windows 10 PC? What if you go to the base games store page instead? It's also worth a try to open your library (click the three small dots in the top right corner) in order to see if you can download it from
there.
