I bought a game about a year ago and now it says I haven't bought it.

I bought Minecraft Dungeons: Hero Edition on 28/April/2020 and I was even emailed a receipt. I bought it on the Microsoft Store and it doesn't say install just the 'Buy' button.

I know I am using the right account because I was emailed the receipt to that email, and I signed into Xbox Live with the Microsoft account, and it has 30% progress in achievements for the game, but still, no way to play it from there.

This really distresses me because I want to get back into the game, and I know I bought it. It just isn't showing up in my Microsoft purchase history.
I really don't want to lose my cloud save either.

Hi, No sorry, I bought the game on PC, not Xbox, but in the Xbox app on my computer, in my profile, there is progress for the game.

I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:

After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm.

Then, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2-3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

If the issue persists, please select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps

Please, open the Microsoft Store on your computer.

Then, click on Library > Games.

On the far right corner, click on the drop-down menu and uncheck "Show only installed Apps".
