I bought a brand new controller and it has drifting problems~

It drifts to the right without touching the right thumbstick..

It's litterally out of the box brand new first time I used it it's panning to the right..

Please tell me how this happens? IT'S BRAND NEW

I have the same problem. Try updating your controller in accessories in settings although that didnt work for me

Hi Marky. An advice? You've just bought it? It's drifting? Replace it. Look to your customer or with the Xbox support to ask for a refund or for a new controller.

If its a brand new pad it’ll most certainly be covered by the xbox warranty which is 3 months for controllers if im correct? But can you not go through the retailer you bought it from and see if they can exchange it for a working one? I’m sure if you explain
its faulty and can provide proof of purchase they should do the exchange and save you the hassle of sending it in for repair.

Iv'e bought multiple controllers over the years and iv'e only had a stick drift issue with one of my controllers and it was on it's last legs to be honest (after serving me well over the years) it was time to retire the controller and get a new one, witch
i just bought a random controller that was brand new, and i haven't had problems with stick drift in many years.

If your controllers drifting, rather get it replaced if its brand new.
