I bought a 3 months Xbox Live pre-paid card but it "isn't active yet"?

Hello, I recently bought 3 months of gold on a pre-paid card (1 week or so ago) and I watched the clerk scan the card to activate it, today my live ran out and the live I bought is "inactive" so I can't use it.

What do I do because lost my receipt?

Hey, We have bought a one month pre-paid xbox live gold card, when we first entered the code, it came up with an error, then when tried again it says it's been redeemed.

When on the subscriptions page it says that the membership is active, but it wont allow connection to play on xbox live

When looking at your gamer-card on the Xbox Forums, I noticed that your gamertag was gold coloured. Please be aware that Xbox system does not allow you to stack membership/subscriptions on top of each other. Thus meaning, if you try and redeem a code, it
will display an error message/code on your screen.

I would recommend looking at the subscriptions page, to see what subscription is currently active, and if it is set to renew its self. If it is not set to renew, you can also see when the subscription is going to expire (end). To check any subscriptions
on your Microsoft Account, please follow this link here:
Service and Subscription page (Microsoft Account). You can also see if the subscription you have entered has actually gone through, onto your account from this page.

But that is odd because I can't do anything that requires gold, I do not think I have gold.

That and it says my previous card expired today.

With your last subscription, roughly what time did you activate it?

It could be that it will expire at the time you activated it today. Which could also explain why it is showing you as a gold user on these forums.

With the subscription page, did it show the card you were trying to use today on there?

It may also be worth
contacting Xbox Chat support, as they will be able to look into your account, and the code your trying to redeem, and see if there is a problem with the code it's self.
