    i bought a 2nd hand xbox one with 3 installed games how to handle?


    I bought a 2nd hand Xbox one with 3 installed games for my Son, at this moment it is working because the account of the former owner is still working with an existing xbox live account.

    But i want to control this xbox by my Sons, my own account, xbox live gold membership and control over the games. I can erase everything, but then i also lost the installed games.

    I already create a new account (my existing xbox360 account).

    Can i or do i have to transfer the games to my Sons account, or? Please advise.

    The games will be linked to the former owners Microsoft account. You'll not be able to use these games once that account has been removed from the Xbox One.

    If i don't remove the former account, can i use my own live gold account if the live account from the former owner expirers? If this works i can buy and install new games on my own (my Sons) account and use the former account only for the already installed
    games, maby in the future it is possible to switch the installed games to another account?

    I would not advice using the previous owners account or the games assosiated With that account... as this would as I understand it be regarded as account sharing and/or Marketplace Theft which is against the Xbox live Terms of Use and Code of Conduct and
    you risk a Console ban and/or having Your Xbox live account banned!

    Thx for your answers, so i try to understand the best way is to erase the xbox and start all over again with my /sons account, the installed games are lost and can not be transferred to my Son?
