    Hi, I got a ban for threat or harassment or something like until July 31st. I don't use my headset my controller doesn't even have a headphone jack so I can't talk. Me and my brother use the same account and his controller does have
    a headphone jack and I know that he likes to mess around alone and talk smack sometimes. I believe that maybe he said something that got me banned because he doesn't play too often but every now and then. Please un ban me I only play one game with a couple
    of friends and we use facebook chat cause we all don't have mics. I will make sure my brother doesn't play on my account or at least use the headset but please remove the ban I'm a respective player and don't make threats or anything like that.

    I believe I was falsely banned because I didn’t send any messages that violated the terms but I got banned a week ago and now I’m banned again

    Keep in mind that you are responsible for your account at all times. So it doesn't matter if your brother did something or if it was you. All that matters is what account was signed in when it happened.

    The enforcement team do not use the forums.You need to log on to the enforcement site HERE for info on your suspension & to file for a case review if eligible.

    Be aware that all reports are thoroughly investigated so the chances of you being "false banned" are extremely unlikely.

    Just a gentle reminder that for enforcement actions there is a dedicated team that handles them which is the enforcement team. I’m so sorry but the reason and all details are only available on your end.

    I understand this situation is frustrating for you, however, I would like to let you know that no one in the community forums or someone from Microsoft support is capable of assisting with enforcement actions.

    If your account is also banned, eligible for an appeal and you haven't filed one yet, you can file a case review, here's how:

    Sign in and visit the Enforcement page. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/family-online-safety/enforcement/enforcement-history

    If you’re an organizer of an Xbox family group, you can choose the Gamertag of the account that you’re reviewing under Showing enforcements. Under Previous or Current you will find “Completed suspensions” and “Active suspensions” for your account or the account that you’ve selected.
    Choose an enforcement action to review more info about the cause and effect of the enforcement in the pop-up window.
    If the enforcement action qualifies for case review, you can select Submit an appeal to receive more info from Xbox Safety.
    After you’ve completed the form, select Submit.

    Note: Xbox won’t tolerate abusive behavior. When you submit an appeal or reply to an agent’s request for additional info, don’t abuse or threaten Microsoft employees or post profane, bigoted, or otherwise provocative content. Case review inquiries are subject to the guidelines that are outlined within the Community Standards for Xbox. Disregarding these rules may result in the closure of your case review. Especially egregious violations may result in additional Xbox enforcement action.
