    Weird "Failed to Connect to EA Online" situation.

    Talked with an EA rep that had basically the idea that servers have been undergoing maintenance for the past week. I have NEVER had issues with being unable to connect to EA online servers for BF:BC 2, except when the game was first released. I have tried
    every single fix out there. This effing sux EA! And Todd, if you're reading this, you seriously need to ask for more information so I can know exactly what is going on.

    Help with e.a servers... not available for two weeks now

    I have been having the exact same problem for past weeks. It says EA server is unavailable almost every time I want to play. I get in from time to time. My friend also has the same problem.

    Ive been playing fifa for years without any such problem. My xbox360 is behind dmz so all ports are open. This is a EA server related issue. sometimes when I log out of xbox live, change the date to nov 2005 & log back in, it connects.

    I hope EA fixes this soon because its really getting impossible to play FIFA online like this!

    This happens often when you lose contection to EA servers, as ReproductioN pointed out. I have been having problems connecting to EA servers myself, I guess EA are preparing server space for BF3.
