I banned my friend for a joke and I didn't think it would ban him

He can try submitting a case review at http://enforcement.xbox.com It doesn't matter why you reported him. He would have done something to violate the code of conduct/terms of service and that would be the reason
he was banned.

Getting banned isn't just a case of you sent an abusive message, it can also be for unsporting gameplay.

I mean i was helping my friend boost in COD: BO3, thats it, i didn't boost only my friend did but he needed my help, so maybe i got banned for that but maybe not because he didn't get banned, not a single message from xbox. My friend mods for a lot of games,
i don't engage with him, but he does not get banned.

hmmm I could have sworn I saw him here a few months back. I didn't think people got banned that long. The longest I was banned for was six months.
