I approved a game that my child could play, but it is just stuck pending the approval

I do understand the urgency of you wanting to find other ways for this issue of yours in regards with pending approval for your child to play a game. We are very glad to help you out to find some of the best possible options and troubleshooting's that we can provide for you.

As we move along with this, I would like to confirm if you have checked the status of the game on your child's account after granting permission since you may also need to sign-in on your child's account to check for that approval as well. If not, please follow the steps below to check the status of the game:

• Sign into your Microsoft account and go to the Family page.
  
• Select your child's account and click on the "Activity" tab.
  
• Look for the game that you granted permission for and check its status.
  

If the game is still not added to your child's account, please try the following steps:



>> Sign into your Microsoft account and go to the Family page.

>> Select your child's account and click on the "Content restrictions" tab.

>> Scroll down to the "Apps, games & media" section and click on "More options".

>> Turn off the "Block inappropriate apps and games" option.

>> Make sure that the "Allow apps and games rated for" option is set to the appropriate age rating for the game you want to add.

>> Try adding the game again by following the same steps you did before.



In addition, you may need to try as well to access your child's account for any verification or as well as to confirm on any pending confirmations in regards with any family restrictions since if your child's account is still minor they still need approval of the Family Organizer on the Family Group. So might as well we need to double check that you may need to be the Family Organizer of the Family Group and add your child's account as a member of the family as well.
