I am unable to unlock any Minesweeper achievements! please help.

Since I first installed Microsoft Minesweeper couple days ago

No, this is the first one and currently only Microsoft Game I am having this problem with

I am currently unable to unlock any achievements in Microsoft Minesweeper. When I installed the game 2 days ago, I played my first couple games without exploding any mines and I was able to get the achievement "Good Start". After that
I started playing adventure mode and got through the first level, all the way up to 11 levels and 10 000 gold without touching traps/mines.
However I realized that I did not get the achievement "First rung of the ladder" for reaching exit on level 1, also I did NOT get the achievement "Greedy" for gathering that 10,000 gold.
After that I stopped playing adventure mode and went to test the daily challenges, I won my first, my second... my third... actually 5 more daily challenges and I STILL did not get neither "Came to Play" nor "Came to Win" achievements.
I started to became frustrated and started googling for information how to fix this but I found nothing.
I uninstalled the application via windows 8 metro in my tablet, and then went back to store to download and install it again.
However I noticed that uninstalling does not clear my computer of all of the Minesweeper related data, since even after reinstalling the game my adventure progress was still saved at level 11 and all my settings were same as before reinstalling.
I was not yet able to try to manually clear all Minesweeper related files because
Microsoft Windows has Blocked the access to Program Files/WindowsApps folder by default. And I don't even know If the problem is there.
After reinstalling the game, I logged in normally to windows live with my account as I always do with every game. I tried the daily challenge achievements again but I was not able to unlock them even though I met the criteria, again.
It came to my mind that what if "Happens to everybody" achievement somehow blocks the rest of the achievements? (I did not have it yet because I never exploded a mine and I would have liked to keep it that way) However I decided to go to normal classic
mode and explode some mines on purpose, and suprisingly I was able to get that achievement in 9x9 mode. Right after that I was also able to get "Savior of the World" by completing each game size.
Again I tested going back to adventure mode and reaching exit on level one, but I still did not get the achievement for that. I reinstalled the game 2 more times, booted my tablet between each try, I tried to close all the programs before starting Minesweeper,
I keep track that I always have enough free RAM and enough free disk space, but nothing seems to help. After each boot and each reinstall I tried to get the different achievements again but nothing I can come up with is working now. I have a very stable internet
connection and I am certain that I never drop offline or lose connection to microsoft LIVE when I play. Also this problem has been around for 2-3 days now that I am writing this. In other Windows live games I am able to get achievements normally with this
same tablet.
Please help! I'm frustrated and I want to learn how to fix this problem and what can I do.

I am able to gain medals normally, just not the achievements including but not limited to: "Greedy", "First rung of the ladder", "Came to Win", "Came to Play". I'm sure I'm always online with my account when I try to do the achievements.

Minesweeper Adventure

I didn't auto update Minesweeper after i did update the achievement do unlock now

 

Microsoft Minesweeper Diamond Badge Achieved; Challenges Reset.

I achieved the Diamond Badge, on Windows 8.1 Minesweeper, this morning. I backed out to the main menu, to look for my "wins at your back" achievement, and it had not unlocked. I closed out the app, and proceeded to work on Taptiles, and Sudoku. They have
similar achievements. The achievement did not unlock in Taptiles. The achievement DID unlock in Sudoku.

So on to the major issue here:

When I reopened Minesweeper, my daily challenges were reset back to the 16th. From the 1st through the 16th, all challenges are complete. The following days have not been attempted except for 1 challenge today, when I was hoping it would "fix itself." The
16th is the point that I achieved my Gold medal so I believe this is tied to the Diamond Badge Update, and have been unable to find any other posts detailing this issue.

 

Damn, I made my post look much easier to read and much more pleasing to the eyes in the editor, but after I posted It it just looks like a thick wall of text, and I don't know where I can edit my post back to look more readable. If there's no edit option
here It would be a brilliant idea to make one.

Anyways, would be nice if you could help me solve this problem or atleast give me some hints what to try next!

 

It looks like you've gone as far as possible with Windows 8.0. 4 of the 20 achievements (which you've unlocked) have been available for a long time, but the other 16 were added in the last month or so, and the only way I was able to get any of those to
unlock was to update to Windows 8.1, which I was unable to do until recently.

I started to have even more problems now (minesweeper and mahjong daily challenges do not load, taptiles crashes and freezes etc.) So I hope the 8.1 will help with those too

 

In my case I had power management issues and poor performance when I updated to Windows 8.1. Microsoft Solitaire Collection in particular had lots of sound glitches.

After 3+ bad attempts to upgrade to 8.1 (about once a month since 8.1 came out, when I've had time to back up, update, then roll back), I ultimately had to back up all my data, do a factory reset, get all the Windows Updates, then upgrade to Windows 8.1
from a relatively clean install of Windows 8.0.

Hopefully your upgrade goes better than my earlier ones did.

Once you're on Windows 8.1, go to the Store, bring up the settings, go to App Updates, and check for updates. Apps are supposed to update automatically in 8.1, but I've usually had to do the first one manually.

If you've been playing Minesweeper for awhile (I've been playing since April 2013 or so) quite a few of the new achievements will unlock on first play if you've already earned them.
