    I am unable to start XboxInstaller.exe on Windows 10


    Hello!

    Whenever I try to run the XboxInstaller.exe application, nothing happens.

    Once I was able to get a completely black window to open, which remained unchanged for ~10 minutes and crashed upon me clicking on it.

    I would gladly take any advice on how to approach this issue, as I have no idea what to do, and I am eager to use the game pass service I already paid for.



    I have tried:

    - Updating Windows 10 to the newest build.

    - Multiple restarts, compatibility mode runs and redownloads of the installer.

    - I always try to run the installer as administrator.

    First you need to download the PC Xbox App to your Windows 10 PC. You can get the download

    here

    Next you need to sign on the App with the same account you use on your console. Plus, if you haven't done so already, you need to make sure you are logged in with the same account on the Windows Store.

    The Xbox App doesn't actually do any downloading, everything downloads via the Windows Store for Windows 10, but you need the Xbox App to initiate the download, and this is why your account needs to be on both. If you already sign in on Windows 10 with the
    same account, you shouldn't need to change anything on the Windows Store.
