I am unable to resolve inconsitency of Xbox 360 gaming console - What can I do?

I got Xbox last week and installed properly. Now, while playing games there is a problem that I have been noticing about the audio. It is inconsistent and stops abruptly in the mid of playing the games. I don’t know what to do in this case, can you guys
suggest me the way to resolve this problem.

Console making a strange noise. Help would be much appreciated.

My Xbox 360 Elite console has been working fine for years, without a single problem. Then yesterday, I was watching a dvd and once I tried to eject the disk, the console made a very loud, buzzing like sound. Tried a few things to see what triggered the noise,
and it seems to be whenever I start up my xbox, and whenever I try to eject a disk.

I haven't used the console for gaming since in fear that it may damage my disks, or the console even further. Does anybody have any idea what this problem may be, or how I can resolve it?
