I am unable to purchase backwards compatible games

Because my account was created under a child age, I am still not able to purchase backwards compatible games even though I can purchase all other games including ones that are r rated. All of my family restrictions are turned off
and I am over the age restriction which is 15+ in Australia. I have rang support and they recommended that I buy gold for a different account, just to download the game with gold title Dead Space 2, which I should already be entitled to seeing as I am paying
for a gold subscription. This seems like a error in the shop and is a bit annoying. Help would be much appreciate and thank you for any responses I receive.

i have already added a cc on may account and bought gold for 3 months but when i go to purchase GWG for this month (dead space 2) its appear (not valid payment option) at the same time i can buy XB1 games with this card

The 360 store is set up differently than the store on the One. The child restrictions on the One will only work for One content. In order to purchase 360 content on a child account, you woul have to do so via a 360 console.

Store. Also check that the subscription is correctly activated by viewing the "subscriptions" section of the console.

Are you on a child account? Child accounts are unable to purchase backwards compatible games due to restrictions on the store.

The game is on the
backward compatible list for the Xbox One. If you purchased or redeemed the trial on the Microsoft Account, I recommend to try the following article: Where's
